Inter Milan suffered a first league defeat this season after they lost a first half lead to lose 3-1 to capital club Lazio. The Nerazzuriconceded three goals in the second half to lose the Italian Serie A matchup with Lazio and further grounds in the race for the league title.

Croatian international Ivan Perisic scored for his country during the just concluded international break and he scored again to give Inter Milan the lead during the Serie A clash played at the StadioOlimpico on Saturday. Perisic was successful from the spot inside twelve (12) minutes after Albanian fullback ElseidHysaj brought down Italian midfielder NicoloBarella in the Lazio box.
Lazio trailed to that Perisicpenalty at the break and they were able to turn it around upon restart. The Maurizio Sarri-led Lazio side scored the equaliser on 64 minutes from the penalty spot after Italian national team defender Alessandro Bastoni was adjudged to have stopped a Patric header from a corner kick with his hand. Ciro Immobile was responsible for the Lazio equaliser to take his tally to seven goals in the league.
Inter trailed for the first time in the game with nine minutes left to play when Brazilian winger Felipe Anderson scored after Nerazurri goalkeeper Samir Handanovic pushed a shot from Immobile into his path.Lazio took the game beyond the reach of Interin added time through Serbian international Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
Lazio have a very good record at home in the Italian Serie A and they were able to maintain it despite trailing conceding the first goal of the game. They are unbeaten in the last 17 home games, their longest streak since a 22-match unbeaten run since 2002.
Inter Milan tasted defeat in the Italian Serie A for the first time this season and just a second defeat in 30 Serie A matches.
