Two European heavyweights are interested in making Inter Milan boss Simone Inzaghi their next managerial appointment ahead of this summer. This is according to the report from Italian publication Corrieredello Sport. It was disclosed that both Manchester United and Spanish champions Atletico Madrid are interested in Inzaghi who has done a very good job since swapping Lazio for Inter Milan at the start of last season.

Inzaghi impressed as the Lazio manager for several years and he was even able to seal Champions League qualification in a tough league like the Italian Serie A after several years. The quality shown by him at Lazio landed him the Nerazzuri job last summer. He was named the replacement for Antonio Conte who won the league title for Inter Milan for the first time in over a decade.
Lazio replaced Simone Inzaghi with compatriot Maurizio Sarri but the former Napoli and Chelsea manager has not been able to live up to the standards set by his predecessor. Lazio are in eighth position on the league tableunder Sarri at the moment.
Manchester United are expected to make a managerial appointment this summer and a lot of candidates have been linked with the job. The Red Devils need a new manager after club legend Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was sacked in November and replaced by caretaker manager Michael Carrick for a few games before German tactician Ralf Rangnick took over as the interim manager until this summer. Rangnick has been the Manchester United manager since the start of last month and he's expected to become a consultant at the club at the end of his short tenure this summer.
Just like Manchester United, La Liga champions Atletico Madrid will also need a managerial appointment with current manager Diego Simeone expected to leave the club this summer.
